Comprehensive ASD Assessments

Early detection of autism through screenings is of utmost importance as it allows for timely intervention and support for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Screenings are a key tool in identifying potential signs of autism at an early stage, enabling professionals to initiate further assessments and interventions. By identifying autism at a younger age, children can receive targeted interventions and therapies that address their specific needs. This can help improve their social communication skills, reduce challenging behaviors, and enhance their overall development.

Comprehensive diagnostic assessment for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is an essential process that plays a crucial role in accurately identifying and understanding the needs of individuals with ASD. This comprehensive assessment involves a thorough evaluation of various aspects of an individual’s development, behaviour, and social interaction. By conducting a comprehensive diagnostic assessment, professionals can gather a holistic understanding of an individual’s strengths, challenges, and specific needs related to ASD.

Given the wide range of symptoms and severity levels associated with autism, a thorough evaluation involving observations, interviews, and standardized assessments is crucial. By conducting these assessments, professionals can ensure that individuals receive the appropriate interventions and support they need, enhancing their development and quality of life.

At STG Health, we focus on early detection and intervention for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to ensure children get the help they need quickly. If a child is identified as at-risk during our age-appropriate screenings, our team promptly begins comprehensive diagnostic services. However, a final diagnosis is only made once the child reaches 3.5 years old, as ASD symptoms can become clearer over time.

In the meantime, we offer personalized interventions to support the child’s development, focusing on improving communication, social interaction, and behavioural skills. Our goal is to provide continuous and comprehensive support, ensuring every child receives the care and intervention they need to thrive.
